Maribo is a small town. A city, on an Island in south of Denmark.
Accomodation: Located 7 min walk from the local train / bus station.
1,7-2hrs. from Copenhagen by FastTrain/Car/flixbus

I love cooking and sharing, but since your staying for free - And since food is quite pricy-

Traveling is the best thing in the world. And I find meeting travelers exiting- I my self have traveled all over the world . I do couch surfing because I believe this is, some how a key, we as humans have been given - So that we can open a door into another persons life, and support a unique experience - couch surfing is a precious option for us to learn and grow, explore and share cultures, gain wisdom and get inspired and help others to come around, almost for free.

I believe in a home safe environment. No stress Vibe. So please take a deep breath and relax. Enjoy your stay.
My place is a safe space. If you want I can show you the city - we can go for a walk - a coffee, we can hang out. Lake Swims - biking whatever you like to explore.

I can share any info with you no problem. I use to live in Møn and Copenhagen.
In any way you are your own responsibility and please don't expect me to baby sit you- There are many things to see. And explore on this Island. And I will gladly assist or attend or help in and if any way possible.

The Island is known for its islands. If you're here in the summer times, there is lots to do and see and explore, golf, hiking, lakes to swim and sail in, Island jazz festivals, Museums, Fuglsang Castle, Golf, Viking Village, Safari Park, LALANDIA water land, food markets, camping areas, nature, churches, history, PILGRIM ROUTE, Old town and New Town, other near by cities, award winning bakery and much more.

Don't mind me and my work space.

NOTE this is a HYGGE HOME and not a PARTY HOME: A creative open work space.
Drunkards or heavy drinking is a big NONO for me , such goes for judgemental mindsets.
I have my full rights to deny you access to my home - if you are drunk or act disrespectful.

I don't mind sharing a glass of white wine though.

NO ANIMALS

NOTE: The toilet is in my sleeping room: I sleep with earplugs - just PLEASE DO NOT KNOCK on the door in the night times when you need to go just go. Don't knock in the night times, unless your dying- please just open the door like a ninja and walk in like a ninja if you need to go just go- if you knock- of course - I will wake up! There is also a terrace, where you can pee in the flower pots- if any. 😂

Don't even think or emagin - that it's okay to knock in the middle of the night because you want a hug either- Please. I am here to share my roof with you - not my bed.

Traveling and life in general can be expensive and Reality is not what most people emagin it to be. know that Denmark is not cheap. Please do research about our country. I expect you to be able to provide for your self on longer stays. Im very generous please dont take advantage. I dont want to deal with grown up babies thank you.

I understand life sometimes can be hard. Asking to couchsurf in my home- I expect that you can provide for your self - And that you have your next stop sorted out.

I expect you to have a what's app telephone nr, and at least one active social media account.
Otherwise there are many shelters around this islands or other hosts.

For me to know that you have read all of this please when you contact me - write 'knock knock' in the beginning of your letter when contacting me- thank you.

Please bring head phones for your lap top or phone or for your kids.
It's an old building and not exactly sound proof.
Just know there will be squeaking sounds.

When you arrive I expect you to take a really nice long shower after your long times of travel.
Chillax and land. Germs, viruses. smells- bad energy - what ever please wash it off.
You do not need to unpack your sleeping bags here. I have duvets and fresh linen for you. If you need to dry up your Tent in our private yard - you Can.

If you need to wash your clothes - no problem.

Kitchen is Open - if you stay for more than 2 days please be a provider and not just a taker thank you.

Don't forget to bring a pajamas. Or clothes you can chill in. I don't allow nakedness in my home. Thank you.
If your traveling by bike- you can have your bike/bikes in our yard with no worries, Maribo is one of Denmarks most safe places. - and if you need ekstra clothes (woman only) - I got you
