About Me
I am 25 years old and I am doing my PhD in food science and technology (the guys that create your cookies and chocolate). I live in Berin Moabit (near Tiergarten and Brandenburger Tor) with two roommates. I enjoy cooking, chatting and hanging around with my roommates. As a guest/roommate I am fun to hang around and I don't need alot of fancy things to be happy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am pretty new in couch surfing and hestitated for quiet a while to try it. And what can I say: I was so stupid! It is the greatest way to travel. I dont like being alone on tour and with couchsurfing you are not alone and meet awesome people. I would like to meet alot of new people, get to know their kind of lifestyle and share experiences.
With my current living situation I cannot host people. I live in a very small room without an additional place for any surfers. But I am open to meet in Berlin for a drink! And as soon as my living situation changes, I would love to host people in my place.
Interests
I do a lot sports like running. I ran the Berlin marathon once, wow what an experience with all these people around the course! I really really love doing Taekwondo (korean martial arts) which I am now praticing for more than 5 years by now.
For getting around in town I prefer bicycling and walking because I enjoy being outside. I like to go out clubbing, grabbing a drink or just hanging out with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
But I am pretty open to all kind of music but mostly listen to house, electro, current music, some rock and indie.
Movies, yeah I known the start of some movies but almost everytime dont see the end because I feel asleep. And this is totally independent from the type of movie. Even when I like a movie I normally fall asleep and have to rewatch the end.
But in general I like action and funny movies. The same is for books: I prefer thrillers to everything else.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
That one is tough: My parents did so many amazing things with my when I was a kid. But I think the greatest thing was traveling the Mekong river by speed boat in Laos. Wow so much untouched and fortunatlly somuch touch/burned jungle. It so much more realistic if you see something like that yourself instead if watching a documentary. I keep this moment in my heart and keep reminding myself to be responsible with our planet.
Teach, Learn, Share
Meeting new people is always teaching, learning and sharing all at once. Keep meeting new people and educate yourself by that. For me its the greatest way to teach, learn and share :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring some German vibes and cuising into your home. I love cooking and chatting about everything. Of course if you want to torture yourself I can teach you some German, but I can tell you: even us Germans have trouble with our language sometimes ;)
