About Me

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST:

Please read our HOUSE RULES at the bottom of the "My Home" section, or I will automatically decline and also not answer - No exceptions!

* Three nights maximum
*LGBTQIA friendly ✌🏼 but I’m sorry to say I won’t host 2 males because of past experiences and that’s a purely personal issue - At least one person must identify as female if you are a couple/friends travelling together.
*If you can't request your date, it's most likely that I've already accepted someone else, which blocks out those dates.

------------------------------

Five years ago, I met an Australian guy on a video game called Assassin's Creed. One night, after having talked nearly everyday for 6 months, I randomly asked if he would let me stay at his place and show me around his city. Fast forward several years, we're now happily married! I guess I can say that that was my first couchsurfing experience ... Ha.

That solo trip to Australia was my first-ever trip overseas and my first-ever solo trip. It sparked my passion for travel, and I've since travelled to over 30 countries across all 7 continents and permanently relocated to Australia.

I write occasionally - Check out my travel blog at hersandyfeet.wordpress.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My biggest reason for being on CS is because I want to give back to the community ❤️ I believe in the concept of "paying it forward" ~ I also want to support female travellers by giving them a place to stay where they know they'll be perfectly safe. 👭

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Aside from actually achieving my goal of travelling to 7 continents, the single most amazing thing I've probably ever done is marry my best friend. I truly believe that my greatest achievement in life is and will always be the fact that I found my life partner.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a firm believer in KARMA. You get out what you put in ... or out. Kindness and good intentions, always.

"My life has been the poem I would have writ, but I could not both live and utter it."
— Henry David Thoreau

"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."
— J.R.R. Tolkien
