ALL ABOUT ME!!! GULP...um..er..'crikey' - Love that saying-crikey as it reminds me of Steve Irwin,our great and late Wildlife Expert & Conservationist-he was a powerful Ambassador for Australia-our "Crocodile Hunter"..such a down to earth magnetic man...
ME??? :-) Relaxed,optimistic,respectful,humble...I'm all about respecting ALL that IS...people,animals,the environment etc., Being grateful for the moments,everything in each day.
I maintain an ageless approach to life,believing we are capable of anything -by keeping the mind open!!
I am a vegetarian,non-smoker,non-drinker.

I'm very excited to be a "freshman" CS member & look forward to joining in with community events,welcoming fellow travellers to my area...participating in any way I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No previous CS experience as yet,tho' I'm eager to begin the CS world from both sides...as a host & a guest.
Friends have claimed CS has taken their travel experiences to completely different levels & they will never want to travel any other way..HOW FANTASTIC..
No more a complete stranger to the people & country
you are travelling in, because with CS people open their homes,arms and hearts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One Christmas,away from family(not feeling alone or left out) my partner and I awoke around 5a.m.(very unusual)...it was a beautiful still morning,we decided to go for a walk along the beach...As we walked, the ocean beside us was FILLED with masses of Marine life..all species of fish,all young,all colours,such a LARGE variety..angelfish,zebrafish,baby sharks&stingray,too many for me to recall all here...it was as if we were in a MARINE PARK...masses of marine life went on and on!!!
We were in awe & realised we had been given our Christmas gift from Mother Nature!
We were uplifted & grateful.
Later that day we visited friends in the neighbourhood,we shared our morning experience...they all exclaimed "Here,at OUR BEACH?? We've been living here for 20 years & have never seen anything of which you describe!!!"
We then knew we had TRULY been given a unique gift!
