Overview
About Me
In essence friendly, compassionate, and thoughtful.
I haven't traveled much, but I love meeting new people and experiencing new places, people, foods, and things.
I currently work in survey research and am a life-long student. I recently began studying Spanish and I want to learn data science. On the side, I practice and help teach bodywork at my local massage school.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make new friends from around the world. In the future, I would like the opportunity to host and couch-surf again.
Interests
In my free time, I enjoy cycling, reading, cooking and eating. I believe with good company anything can be a joy.
I enjoy being of service to my community so I volunteer at my alma mater and local massage school.
I am also passionate about philanthropy on a macro level, health, nutrition, and self-growth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacked Cottonwood Pass Trail with my good friend at 10,000 feet elevation with up to 40 mph winds. We climbed 2,300 feet over 22 miles in 2 days. Then just for kicks the next day, we did a day hike of 11 miles with a 3,333 feet gain.
A more recent amazing thing was the Women's March in Downtown Los Angeles. It was a beautiful collaboration of hope, comradery, tolerance, and community.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you meditation, interpersonal communications skills, Tai Chi Chuan, and self-massage therapy. I would love to learn to swim freestyle and to speak Spanish and Chinese. I can show you the fun of walking around or riding a bicycle in Los Angeles. Plus I know some fun unique neighborhoods and impressive restaurants.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer massage treatment (Deep Tissue, Sports, Thai, Sensory Repatterning, Circulatory, etc) and/or take you out to eat, drink, and/or indulge in dessert.
