I'm a friendly, nerdy, curious, vegetarian. I'm a cat person, wine-drinker, architecture-lover, and music junkie. I dislike crowds, but I love meeting people. I love being behind the scenes; surprising people with my awesomeness, rather than loudly waving it around in the air.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite couchsurfing experiences have been the ones where I'm able to get off the beaten path with someone, where I end up at some out-of-the-way restaurant, or trying to track someone or something down, or just hanging out with a new group of people where they live. Basically experiences that are authentic, instead of commodified tourist stuff.

Rode the night bus alone the long way from Ancient Delphi to the Port of Itea because I'd stopped to drink a bottle of local wine on a cliff top earlier that day and missed the direct route.

Been lost in a cloud of clownfish above a reef in Saint Thomas with my best friend and a neverending supply of Carib lager.

Been the first man in ten years to drink Green shots and sing karaoke in a tiny lesbian bar in Shinjuku where I spent several nights with my baby sister.

More than anything I love teaching and learning about interconnections. Nothing is linear. Nothing is discrete. All knowledge is a series of webs and intersections.
