Randi works in town as a family doc. I'm working as a carpenter, trying to finish a house. Our kids are home-schooled. We are politically and socially liberal. We care about the environment. We live in the country and are very musically and artistically inclined.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None right now... we're newbies. We've slept on a lot of couches and hosted many people informally, but are new to doing it through the auspices of CS. We have a 20ft tee-pee and plenty of space inside.

Interests

I am interested in carving, getting back into knife making, getting together with people to sing, I like to tramp, hike, spend time with my family, recently starting playing tennis with my daughter, learning about Maori culture.

Movies: One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Elling, Whale Rider, To Kill a Mockingbird, Tumbleweeds, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Fantastic Mr. Fox (some of these are my kids favorite movies...)

Music: Wailin' Jennys, Beatles, Norwegian folk music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I can think of three. Three kids being born was an amazing thing to see.

Teach, Learn, Share

My daughter really wants to learn how to squirt milk from her eyes, so if there is anyone out there who can help us out with this, please look us up.

In return, we can share music, songs, teach you how to use power tools - if you are into power tools, I got 'em.

Jewelry, photography, music, make a sledding ramp, horse around, have a good time in general.
