I'm Sanjay. I found my love for travelling in 2023 and so far, I have travelled to 9 countries - Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

I like to explore different places in the countries I go to, try the local food, meet new people and learn about the culture and history of that place.

I like taking photographs as well and I have an Instagram page (@xiaojayphotography) where I post the pictures I take.

I like playing sports (cricket, badminton and table tennis) and I always look for people I can hang out with and play some sports in the places I go to.

Since I came back from my first international trip, I have realized that travelling is something I love, and I decided to travel as much and as often as possible.

I find Couchsurfing as a place that can make travelling even more fun for me by providing the opportunity to meet more people.

Hiked Mt. Hallasan, the highest peak in South Korea, on my 31st birthday.

Ran in the Mt. Fuji International Marathon 2025. Thought I didn’t finish and only ran 27kms, it was an amazing experience.

I can share my culture with the hosts/other surfers and give them some exposure to how things work in my home country. I can exchange languages. I can share my love for food and photography.
