Out of the shade and into the sun
I still haven't found out, what I really want. At the moment I like trying out different things, working in various positions, living in foreign places.
I live in England right now, as I always loved the british culture and the language.
We'll see how that's gonna turn out and what I'm going to end up doing...
In general, I'm a quiet and laid back person that is down to earth. I'm mostly thoughtful and sensitive, but love to laugh as well and have a good sense of humor. :)
I seem to be a little shy at the beginning, can get intimidated easily and don't like meeting crowds of new people at the same time. But as soon as I feel comfortable I can be chatty and funny and bubbly, I love to laugh and I'm usually up for hanging out doing different kinds of things.
Just meet me and find out! :)
Life is too short, to live only in one country. Life shouldn't be predictable.
Our brain tells us what to avoid. But our heart tells us what to do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
To get in touch with people, who like their country and who want to show it to foreign people. I would like to meet real "Insiders", who can give suggestions and help and who are always open for travel tips.
I think Couch Surfing is a perfect way of connecting the whole world.
I started to surf and host during my travels in New Zealand and was impressed by the great community there. A lot of nice people!
CS is the perfect way to get in touch with people and make new friends.
Actually I met most of my close friends via CS. :)
Meeting up with friends, going out in bars and cafes, not to forget clubbing now and again, watching films, reading, writing, cooking, traveling around, different countries and cultures, architecture, languages, arts.
Music, Movies, and Books
Have to admit I love american comedy or drama series and the odd "daily soap".
I like electronic musik, mainstream stuff as well as alternative rock and indie music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Getting a strained neck from looking at the skyscrapers of New York City.
Having an after work beer sitting at the Danube in Regensburg, Bavaria.
Walking on the Great Wall in China, feeling like an Alien as not being Asian.
Christmas Eve on the balcony with 30°degrees in Wanaka, New Zealand.
Teach, Learn, Share
I wanna gain as much experiences as possible for my future career in the tourism industry (hotels, restaurants, touristy places, sightseeing, museums).
Current ambition: learning Italian!
