ABOUT ME

The photo of me is real. I was trying to get an advertising contract.(no luck)I am retired from The City of Calgary; and free to travel and meet & make friends worldwide.The best part is my work at Christmas at The Calgary Farmers Market providing children with happy memories (HO HO HO).
I am involved with several other organizations including: Servas, AF&AM, Calgary Vegetarian Society, Shriner and U.U. I was married in Viet Nam (April 2007.) so I am now commuting between two homes with my Wife; Maria. I was encouraged to promote environmental awareness to save the Polar Bears Habitat from global warming by Paul Coleman. He is on a crusade to promote world peace by walking around the world planting trees.He and his wife walked from Hong Kong to the Olympics in Beijing. Now he is building an environment friendly home in Patagonia.I have discovered Couch Surfing after many years of traveling and hosting SERVAS. I'm looking forward to many more years CS ing to places I've never been. I like using SKYPE and can talk to anyone on the internet using the service, free.
Part of travel is finding facilities, methods and people that are being pro-active in protecting the environment. I'm trying to develop a lecture for people interested in finding out how to help save us from global warming.

PHILOSOPHY

I have been very lucky over the years and now I am paying back.
To me LIFE is a quest and experience is a teacher. I have a strong desire to see what's going to happen next.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveling in North America, Europe, India and East Africa under similar circumstances as a member of Servas. CS is growing faster and stronger at this time with an equally fine experience.

Fathered three sons. Now I have 4 grand children.
Hiked down the gorge at Niagara Falls, and up the Great Wall in China and explored the caves in Viet Nam that sheltered civilians during the bombings.
The most fun is being Santa Claus for a gazillion kids,
