About Me
I'm Santi, an Argentinean passionate about travel and currently living in Sydney, Australia. My journey so far has been an exciting roller coaster of experiences and learning.
After graduating as an Industrial Engineer and having worked in different multinational companies, I decided to leave the "Corporate World" for a while and replace the office with travel :)
Thanks to this decision I have taken, I have traveled more than 25 countries in the last two years (some being what they call now "Digital Nomad") 😅.
I've had the chance to have lived in Argentina, Spain and Australia. In this last mentioned country, I had the incredible opportunity to dedicate myself to take care of a disabled person (quadriplegic, unable to move his legs and arms) 24/7. It was a unique, enriching experience with a lot of learning ❤️
If talking was an Olympic sport, I think I would have several gold medals hanging in my room by now. I really enjoy conversations with people (and even more if there is cultural exchange involved)... I think I can talk my head off 😂.
Sports lover, I've been through Soccer, Rugby, Crossfit, Calisthenics and now I find myself day by day learning Surf 🙂 .
Professionally, as I mentioned, I am an Industrial Engineer but my major years of experience have been spent working in commercial teams. I worked mainly in ABinBev (Belgian brewery) and Glovo (Spanish company recently acquired by the German company Delivery Hero).
When I'm not working, you will find me reading, writing, playing sports or drinking mate (very typical drink in Argentina).
I am a firm believer that the world conspires for me to be happy, and I have many proofs of this !🙌
I strive to accomplish all my goals, and I am always excited to face new challenges and discover new opportunities.
If I have to be honest and give myself a personal self-criticism, I would say that I am an overly structured person, I am not as spontaneous as I would like to be, I sometimes argue about topics that are not worth discussing, and I often overthink simple things.
This text is just a small reflection of myself and my journey, and I am excited to share a bit of my story 🙌

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend once told me something like "The journey is the travelers and the people you meet".
