About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hmm, all I really want to do is travel the world, learn new languages, meet all sorts of people. I just want to learn, learn, and learn.

ABOUT ME

Nothing makes me happier than a nice day at an art museum. New York City is probably my favorite major city. I love its vibe, its attitude, and how it pretty much can please anyone. But, I am open to competition from other places :) I love to explore, meet new people, and learn new things. After all, everyday offers a new lesson to be learned.

PHILOSOPHY

Love yourself. That's my philosophy. Wake up everyday and tell yourself you are beautiful. It's easier said than done, trust me. Especially if you wake up with a massive hangover. But, I do believe that how you see yourself is how others will see you. Be optimistic. Look at the trees, the sky, the sunset and take it in. Let yourself feel small. Its scary at first, but at the same time, its peaceful too. Never be afraid of being alone, because that's how you learn the most about yourself. I don't think you're ever too old to learn. I want to be a student until the day I die. I don't believe in just black and white. I think within everything, there's gray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied abroad two years ago in Paris, and it was the reason why I fell in love with travelling. Aside from that, I was apart of a social justice theater group at my University, and it was through that group that I learned so much about myself and others. Through that group I worked with others to create scenes based on racism, homosexuality, able-ism, and domestic violence. I'll never forget what that group taught me, and I hope to bring what I learned from it to the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned that patience is valuable, and so is listening. I've traveled to more than one country, and I've learned that certain cultures are more open than others. It's easy to jump to conclusions and to judge, especially when you're being criticized based on how you look, the way you speak, etc. I just think it takes more strength to take the harder route and not judge or be bitter, but to learn from it, in a positive way.
