Overview
About Me
I’m originally from Canada and lived in Australia, and have spent the last years studying and teaching meditation, energy awareness, and emotional clarity. I have a Master’s in Education, but my real passion is helping people understand their own minds — in practical, down-to-earth ways.
I live simply and travel intentionally. I’m not into party scenes or chaotic schedules; I love quiet mornings, meaningful conversations, good food, nature walks, and the feeling of being somewhere new with curiosity rather than noise.
People often describe me as calm, perceptive, and easy to have around. I’m independent and happy doing my own thing, but I also genuinely enjoy connecting over tea, stories, culture, and different ways of seeing the world.
I’m respectful of space, clean, and very considerate in shared homes. I’ve done house-sitting and lived in different environments, so I understand how important trust and ease are when opening your home to someone.
I’m currently building location-independent work around meditation, energy awareness and personal development, so you might find me reading, writing, or quietly working on my laptop.
And yes — if you’re curious about meditation and mysticism for self-improvement, I’m always happy to share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travel isn’t about ticking countries off a list — it’s about experiencing real life in a place.
Couchsurfing feels like a human way to travel. I value conversations, shared meals, local insight, and the small everyday rhythms that you don’t get from hotels.
I’m in a transition phase — shaping my next chapter, exploring where I might eventually base myself, and meeting good humans along the way.
I’m especially drawn to places with nature, spiritual depth, or a slower pace.
I’m not here just for free accommodation. I’m here for exchange — culture, perspective, and presence. If our paths cross, I hope it feels easy and natural.
And if you ever want a quiet meditation session or a thoughtful conversation about life — that’s always on the table too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve spent years training in meditation practices that develop deep concentration and awareness — including silent retreats and long daily practice. At one point, I became so absorbed in meditation that physical sensations would completely disappear. It sounds dramatic, but it’s actually very peaceful.
Along the way, I also stayed at two children’s homes to better understand where I could be of practical help. I’m interested in inner development, but I’m equally interested in how that translates into real-world support and presence.
I’m endlessly curious about how the mind constructs reality — which is probably why I love films like The Matrix and The Truman Show.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share practical meditation techniques that build real concentration and awareness — not just relaxation, but skills that change how you relate to your thoughts and emotions.
If someone is curious, I’m happy to guide a short session in:
- calming mental noise
- developing steady attention
working with emotions in a grounded way.
I also enjoy conversations about cultures, travel, pattern awareness, and spirituality. I love animals and being in a natural environment.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- A calm, respectful presence in your home
- Cleanliness and consideration (I understand shared spaces well)
- Meaningful conversation — or quiet independence, depending on your style
- Help with small household tasks
- Cooking a simple meal
- A short meditation session if you’re curious
I’m friendly, adaptable, and genuinely appreciative of anyone who opens their space to me.
