Overview
About Me
I am a research master student at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, originally from Ireland. I spent my early 20s traveling and working in New Zealand, Australia and south east Asia, where I learned to be a florist and that became my profession for four years. I then returned to Dublin, and eventually decided to go and study politics in the Netherlands. I am a curious and open minded person and always seeking new people to learn, share and have fun :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's an awesome way to share couches, experiences and positive energy. Not many platforms exist that connect people outside of monetized interactions, and I think this is hugely valuable, so I want to be part of it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a music lover with broad tastes but my favorites are psych rock/indie/punk/jazz/blues and most things out the 1960s.
When not reading about politics, I like magical realism fiction, especially Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Tom Robbins, Haruki Murakami and right now I'm re-reading the Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Saw humpback whales breaching off the coast of Western Australia. Got chased by a lace monitor in Byron Bay!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach vegan recipes, meditation and yoga :) Interested in learning all kinds of new things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm happy to cook something tasty (vegan) and chat about life!
