I'm 24 and live with my boyfriend near York, we have travelled the world together, we got back in July 2015 and are planning to travel again soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before, I've done Workaway instead where you work for your food and accommodation but while doing workaways I met people who'd couch surfed and told me great things about it. Workaway is great if you want to stay somewhere for a few weeks at a time but I joined couchsurfing for when I want to stay somewhere for just a night or two. Staying with locals is the best way to get to know a place and it's always great to learn from other people about the places they've been and the experiences they've had.

Interests

I love the sea. I graduated university with a BSc in Coastal Marine Biology and I am now doing my MSc in Marine Environmental Management. I love SCUBA diving, surfing and swimming. I also like reading, watching movies and horse riding.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of movies except horror movies but I like everything else from the most romantic films like The Notebook, to comedies like We're The Millers, to action movies like The A Team, my dad has also brought me up watching crazy martial arts movies from the 70s.

Since road tripping in America I love country music!

Nicholas Sparks and Kathy Reichs are my favourite authors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Madagascar and I was taken whale watching by some local people in their little wooden boat and the whales came so close, it was amazing!!

When I was SCUBA diving in Fiji a huge Manta Ray swam right up to me!
