Overview
About Me
I am a 22 year old from a small mountain town in Colorado. I love anything that has to do with the outdoors (trekking, backpacking, rock climbing, canyoneering), and I'm always keen to try a new adventure. I'm passionate about the environment, good conversation, beer, and travel, and I love to laugh. I enjoy the occasional party, but I like to keep it mellow most of the time. I'm generally very easy-going and like to take life as it comes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Part of what makes travel so amazing is the people you meet along the way, and staying with locals or other backpackers is a great way to make connections. It's also a fantastic alternative to hostels when you're traveling on a budget!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, just about anything besides US country music.
I don't often watch movies and tv shows, but I'm game for almost everything. Except horror movies- no way jose.
I can't pick one favorite book, but some of my favorites are the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Ishmael, Desert Solitaire, American Gods... there are too many to pick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I successfully completed the Ausangate trek in Peru and climbed to the highest elevation I have ever reached (16,800 ft). Also got to witness a traditional Quechua remedy for stomach illness.
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak a bit of Spanish, but I would love to learn more. I would also love to learn mountaineering techniques or anything else related to climbing.
I have plenty of rock climbing experience and love sharing the experience with others.
Love exchanging life stories, advice, good Karma
What I Can Share with Hosts
I try to be as easy to have around as possible, and I'm always willing to contribute a bit of food/bottle of wine/six pack of beer or help out if needed. Whatever helps the host most!
