Currently based in Taipei, Taiwan, and studying Mandarin. I grew up in the US and graduated university there with a focus on Linguistics and Chinese Studies. I am a writer and a maker and sometimes spend hours walking just to see where my feet will take me. My analogue camera is a constant companion encouraging me to look for unique perspectives on the world around me.

Im on couch surfing because I am travelling by myself and would prefer to meet real people in the cities that I visit and not just other backpackers which is what I often have to sacrifice travelling from hostel to hostel.

兴趣

I love to create for myself the things I want and need rather than buying them. I like the process of adding utility to everyday things. Mainly I just like to keep my hands busy 🙃.

I rock climb as much as I can but that depends a lot on where I am in life, one of my favorite traditions is visiting a rock climbing gym in a new city while travelling.

I take a lot of photographs, especially when I'm traveling but I find most of my inspiration in making pictures of people rather than scenery. Maybe you can be my next model ~
