About Me

Hello! I'm a biologist with a huge urge to explore the world around me, meet new people, new countries and their cultures. I love to do big walks and to hike. I also spend large amounts of time observing wildlife and what's around me, reading, listening to all types of music, dancing... I'm passionate about cooking and also eating, ahah!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is an excellent way of seeing the little and special things in a place that a common tourist wouldn't notice. You get better insight of the city's culture and history.. and it's also a way of "double travelling", meeting new and different people, different personalities and ways of seeing the world!
I look forward for my first experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of different things! From Rodriguez, Charles Bradley, Jeff Buckley, Caetano Veloso, to Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Radiohead... or even some Chilean cumbia!

I don't have a favourite film director but I have a special consideration for Wes Anderson, Tarantino and Miyasaki, for example. I also have a tendency to watch lots of french movies..

The last book I read was from Milan Kundera, entitled The Unbearable Lightness of Being.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in Madeira island for 10 months, where I had wonderful experiences, including living and working in a small islet for a week with another colleague, isolated from new technologies and everything else. Here I saw the most beautiful sky of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you how to identify some birds and other little moving things, if you are interested! Or even some Portuguese? We'll see :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, I love to cook and could teach you some portuguese recipes!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Netherlands, Spain
