Hi there,

We are a young couple of 22 and 24 currently travelling the east coast of Australia for two months. We will then travel the southern island of New Zealand.

Before coming to Australia we spent three months in south east Asia immersing ourselves in the culture and experiencing different cuisines and people.
We have the travel bug and our aim is to develop or knowledge of the world.

As a fully qualified secondary school teacher and an IT consultant, we spent the years after university perfecting our careers in order to save and take seven months of to see the world through the eyes of a backpacker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couch surfing will offer us a chance to get to know people whilst we are travelling. It will also hopefully allow us to learn more about the area we are staying in from a locals perspective.

My favourite writer is George Orwell and Cecila Ahern.
Ferris is currently reading Dan Brown's collection which includes 'The DaVinci Code'
We enjoy a mix of RnB and soft pop music.
We LOVE movies and enjoy watching anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We spent the entire day at an elephant sanctuary bathing with and feeding the elephants! It was awesome!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We also love social evenings!
