Hi! I am Sara :)
In 2023 I graduated from school and decided to do a working holiday in New Zealand. I have been wanting to travel the world for a long time but never had time for any big travels (and also not the money lol). The plan was to stay in New Zealand for 5 months and then go back home, but that turned into 11 months New Zealand and 3 more countries, finally coming back home in December 2024.
Now I want to host people on Cs to try and give back a little bit of all the help I had recieved during my travels, and to meet new people and hear their stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined couchsurfing mainly to meet people in New Zealand, as i will be doing work and travel there for almost half a year, starting in November 2023. Looking forward to that experience so much!

there is loads of music I love, I don´t have a certain singer I like the most. I just add new songs to my playlist whenever I hear a cool song in the radio or somewhere :D
I love the movies Interstellar, in general scifi, adventure, romance,...just not horror haha.
And my favourite book series is Throne of glass, I really love reading fantasy more than anything!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I can´t really think of a specific one as there were so many great experiences in my life. One thing I could maybe mention is the first day-hike I did with my grandpa, we had been planning that trip for so many years but there was always something that prevented us from actually doing it. Until we finally did it :) I was so fascinated by the view, kinda started to love hiking at that point!

One of the things I love most about traveling is getting to know a new culture. People and cultures are so different and similar at the same time, it´s always fascinating. I love hearing new stories from people, no matter where they are from, and also sharing my own stories :)
