About Me

I live in a small apartment in Berlin
I'd love to travel the world but so far I have only crossed of a few on my list. I love to explore new places, meet new people (having deeper conversations) and walk around a lot. Currently trying to learn Salsa, find out want I want to do with my life and becoming an optimist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Rather than seeing the typical recommended tourist sights I'd prefer to meet local people and explore the hidden spots :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - miscellanous, but I love oldies, Jazz and classical music
Books - there are sooo many... fantasy (especially Discworld series and Thorgal comic book series), crime novels (especially Scandinavian - like Jo Nesbo!), Stephen King (his thrillers and what I call character studies) rather that horrors), older british literature (ex. J.P. Wodehouse), older classics (Master and Margarita, Gone with the Wind, Catcher in the Rye, Toni Morrison, Polish classics (Potop) and and and...
Movies - basically older movies (12 angry men, Arsen an old lace, Charade, How to steal a million dollars, Ship of fools, African Queen, Roman Holiday, Mamma Roma...), newer ones (love the 60ies-80ies) (Doctor Zhivago, Tootsie, Kramer vs. Kramer, Leon, La fille sur le pont, Under the Tuscan sun, French Kiss, My cousin Vinnie, Brubaker, The Sting, Gladiator, Unleashed, Le Grand Bleu, The color purple, Love actually...) and more current ones (Wanted, Salt, Public enemy nr. 1, Enemy at the gates...)...
Disney and Pixar movies :-)
