Work and learn across the Earth
I grew up in Maine where I got my B.A. in Critical and Literary Analysis. Immediately after graduating I moved to South Korea where I lived, worked, and studied for two years. After living in france for a year I'm back stateside and ready for guests!
I don't often take "vacations" because I feel there is this idea that vacations are there to escape any kind of work. In my mind you should want to work, not the desk job 9 to 5 kind of work, but work at making everyday count. We should strive to learn and to see and to do, to have our view, our ideas, the fibre of who we are challenged.
So instead of taking a "vacation" I live, work, and learn wherever I go. I am not an expert on every place I have been, but I have learned more about myself, about these cultures, about life outside of my home in America; and that's sufficient enough for me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't had much experience couch surfing but I would like to gain more in the next few years. I hope people will contact me at the very least for coffee and a good conversation! I had a fantastic experience hosting when had my own apt.
I have not yet been couch surfing, my friend told me about this community and I have yet to use it. I look forward to finding new perspectives, and new foods!
