ABOUT ME

I'm a light-hearted, caring person. I'd much rather hear personal stories and learn something using my own two eyes or hands than read about it in a text book. I'm traveling to have some adventures of my own to tell one day, and I can't wait for those adventures to begin!

PHILOSOPHY

I guess the most general way to say how I try to live is live and let live and pretty close to live like today might be your last.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't currently host, but look forward to being able to one day! I will soon be traveling all over Europe and can't wait to meet some great surfers along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not couchsurfed or hosted as of yet, but have some amazing friends who had great experiences and met amazing people while couch surfing, and I hope to some day as well!

Interests

I have been working as a doula and nanny for the past several years, and most recently while also living on and working at organic produce, meat, and dairy farms. I love to knit, crochet, and use yarn in other art forms, I also enjoy painting, am teaching myself how to play the ukulele, and have played the tuba for many years!

Music, Movies, and Books

I pretty much love it all. I don't watch many movies lately as I've been a bit off the grid, but I love seeing live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One was the first childbirth I saw in real life, the others I'll wait to tell you about in person, or maybe they'll happen during my travels!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning and teaching music, art, language, reading. I have been caring for kids for most of my life and love teaching and learning from them. I am pretty knowledged when it comes to pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and infant care so I'd love to help and teach in those fields whenever possible.
