I'm an English teacher and engineer currently working in Cali, Colombia. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and lived there until I went off to college at the University of California, Berkeley to study Mechanical Engineering. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Portland, OR, USA to work for a well-known tech company. I spent about 5 years enjoying the best that the Pacific Northwest has to offer and traveling to various countries for work assignments. In 2015, I left my engineering role to have some adventures living abroad. I spent some time in in the UK and other counties in Europe. In 2016, I came to Colombia, South America to work as an English teacher. I fill my weekends with hiking, traveling, and salsa dancing. I enjoy everything that Colombia has to offer!

Once my teaching contract ends in Colombia, I plan to take some months to explore the wonder of South America! I hope to get a taste of local culture and hike some beautiful mountains!
