ABOUT ME

I am a young woman who is passionate about justice for the poor and forgotten. I just finished a graduate degree and focused on Human Security and Transitional Justice, focusing my research and coursework on kids in post-conflict societies.

I grew up mostly in Louisiana and Texas, but went to college in New York state, lived in California (NORCAL!) and returned to school in Boston. I was lucky to be brought up in a family that values international exchange and travel, and as a teenager spent my first summer overseas with one of my grandmother's exchange students from the 1960s :) Building relationships across cultures is an amazing privilege and has shaped who I am today.
I love horses and recently managed my aunt's horse farm for a month while she was overseas.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had no official "CouchSurfing" experiences as of yet, but have been hosted by families in Honduras, Chile, Nicaragua, Mexico, Sierra Leone, France, Bolivia, New Zealand, and Australia.

Interests
