Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I celebrated Bulgarian independence day in Plovdiv a couple of years ago. There was terrible music (sorry if you're Bulgarian, your people are lovely, just not the chalga)and the army stood on top of buildings firing Kalashnikovs into the night whilst fireworks went off. Completely terrifying and wonderful.
