Overview
About Me
I'm a city girl from the United States that has been WWOOFing (volunteering on organic farms) in Europe since April 2016. I'll be moving to Chicago in September to start my master's degree in social work. Apart from trying to chase my idealist dreams of creating positive changes in society, I am always down to grab a beer and hang out!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling and experiencing different cultures, ways of life and modes of thinking is what I live for. Couchsurfing is a great way to travel, meet new and interesting people, and grow with others through the mutual exchanging of thoughts and ideas. Plus, what better way of challenging yourself, breaking down cultural barriers/stereotypes and making new friends than by sharing with those of all walks of life?
Interests
Traveling, going to live music shows/festivals, exploring local foods/drink, plotting to save the world and having an overall good time.
Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly music and books. I enjoy mainly rock/alternative but also Latin American music and anything that can get me dancing. I try to go to as many live shows as I possibly can... Music has a beautiful way of transcending barriers and bringing people together.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've lived.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my English and Spanish language skills along with good conversations, travel stories and my (at times not so successful) attempts at cooking.
