I'm 27, currently living back in the UK and have lived in New Zealand, Canada and Dubai. I made New Zealand home and will return one day. I am currently home to save for a house and pretend to be an adult for a while - but can't stop myself being tempted by the odd adventure. Next up is a short trip to Bulgaria. I am looking for likeminded people to ski or travel with... message me if you're interested.

In spring I will be heading out to LA to do my skydive license. I love to meet people, and most people I travel with these days are friends I have met on various trips or living abroad. I enjoy learning from others, hearing their experiences, exploring the 'local' knowledge and place, and going on adventures.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I travel I love to really explore a country, to me this means getting immersed in the culture and meeting the local people. I am on couchsurfing to meet those people and be shown around by the people who know their cities best! I love going off the beaten track and not doing the typical tourist things everywhere I go.

Interessen

I enjoy playing sports, Netball is my favourite but I love playing any. I have been doing Crossfit for 7 months now and love to community aspect of it. I love outdoor adventures, the more I do the more I want to do! Going on a road trip to explore somewhere I have yet to visit is my favourite way to spend my weekends. And I am always up for trying something new. I have recently started photography and very quickly growing a passion for it, if you can teach me more about photography I would love that.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all sorts of music apart from Classical or Heavy Rock. I enjoy finding unusual or new artists and keep a pretty big library of music on my laptop! I can’t help but have a big sing along in the car and dance like crazy.
I’m not a movie person in the slightest; I struggle to sit down for long enough. I enjoy the odd non-fiction book but prefer audiobooks.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have skydived over Wanaka in the South Island of New Zealand...doing my licence next year so I can jump on my own, wherever :)

I have volunteered on a research project in rural Uganda (Kanungu) for a month.

I have sailed a 40ft Catamaran with 3 others from New Caledonia to New Zealand, it took 7 and a half days.
I have also sailed in Ibiza, Mallorca and Athens.

Taken a helicopter into the Canadian Rockies for some off the grid backcountry camping and hiking. Stayed up all night sat on the side of the mountain waiting for the milky way - amazing!

Hiked Abbots Pass Hut and to Mt Robson base.

Visited the DMZ in Korea.

Driven around the Iceland ring road.
