Overview
About Me
I'm currently setting up a small rural arts centre and restoring an old building in the process.
After nearly 35 of living in Central London, am very used to working and living alongside people of different ages and from very diverse backgrounds. My two daughters and their lively gang keep me young!
Love exploring cities as much as being out in the wilderness - as in the wild landscapes we have here on Salisbury Plain and in Wiltshire generally.

Music, Movies, and Books
No good at these type of questions - favourites are only what I'm listening to or reading at the current time as simply can't recall!
In general listen to indie/world/contemporary folk acoustic music - would love to hear about your choices though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
hmm..bringing up my daughters? does that count?
setting up a charity
Teach, Learn, Share
Always happy to share and learn more with the activities I know - whether acapella singing (sharing riffs and songs always welcome!), making things (crafts, potions, herbal tinctures, recipes, upcycling) or community engagement.
Since I'm in the process of setting up new arts groups for the centre, dynamic marketing and internet savvy guests are most welcome...we need to spread the word as well as the love!
Longer stays are also welcome using the space and studio facilities in exchange for some landscaping and gardening help setting up a sensory garden...willow sculptures, mosaics, water features, wooden outdoor structures and help with fencing. Restoring internal paintwork eg limewashing in the Winter.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Own room, time and conversation, shared food and wine, knowledge of beautiful locations and things to see and do locally. We are 2 miles from Longleat and Stonehenge and Bath and Frome are easily accessible too. Warminster is on a mainline station.
Can put up small groups also.
Look out for the relocated Glastonbury Festival nearby in 2017..or is it 2019?
