ABOUT ME

We're Gandalf and Sara. Gandalf (yes, his real name) is from Sweden and Sara is from Slovenia. Not Slovakia :)

After meeting in Czech Republic, living in Slovenia for several years, we decided to move to Sweden and see how we like it here. So far so good!

We're both still (relatively) young and are easy-going people who try to be flexible but it all really depends on our working schedules. We love good food and beer/wine and are both vegetarians.

We have a plan to get through all of the Capitol cities in Europe and to travel the Trans-Siberian railroad sometimes in the future. But right now we are exploring our new home town Helsingborg, Skåne and Sweden in general.

We increased our family with a cat named Pepca (Pehptsa) and there is a little baby boy Leon that joined us in July 2013.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sara watched all three parts of Lord of the rings in almost a week.
Gandalf watched all the Friday 13th and Terror on Elm Street plus Jason vs. Freddy in one day.

We were both EVS volunteers in Czech Republic and that is where we met. That year of 2005 was awesome year (the next ones weren't bad at all).

Both of us went and watched the Girio D'Italia live two years in a row.
We are also proud of having visited the last Soviet republic, Transnistria.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach you EVS, postcrossing, how to vegeterianize your food, fix/ride/love bicycles, geography, read maps, European history, enjoy your beer/wine in the sun...

We can also teach you basics of Slovene or Swedish language.
