My name is Sarah Achar, and I come from Mexico City. im a filmmaker and a visual artist and I’m currently doing my masters in Vienna in Art applied to human rights.
I’m also a feminist activist and I like to talk and learn about that subject in general.
I talk a lot , but I’m also a good listener. I like everything related to art and I truly believe that art is the best way to build bridges and make this world a better place.

My favorite band is Pearl Jam, but recently I started to listen to some salsa and Balkan music. I’m also really into jazz, classic rock (obviously ) and of course, Freddie Mercury rules!
My favorite book is Rayuela by Julio Cortázar and Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury ( I’m a sci fi geek)
My favorite films: Noviembre ( is a Spanish movie about changing the world through theatre) and Captain Fantastic.

The most amazing thing I’ve ever done is making a shot documentary about female masturbation with one of my closest friends. It was crazy and awesome at the same time.

I love sharing about myself, discussing about music and art in general, I can teach you some Spanish and some other stuff about filmmaking, production design and of course, Mexico.
I love learning pretty much about anything but math.
