About Me

I'm not actually from Fiji. I just have no idea how to delete that!

I'm a recent graduate with itchy feet. I'd love to travel, share experiences and learn. I have a hunger to meet interesting people and open my eyes to the diversity of the world and the people who inhabit it. I try to make life a festival - I don't think colour, freedom and appreciation of each other should be confined to three days!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to make pit stops while traveling, while at the same time making friends. To me traveling is an all inclusive experience - everything from where you stay to the people you meet on the train define the memories you make. I am traveling to gain independence, free myself from the heaviness of life and to grow. Mostly I do work away projects in the countryside but seek somewhere to stay in the city in between.

Interests

Psychotherapy - particular Gestalt-based ecological therapy, Jungian, archetypal psychology (see Clarissa Pinkola Estes).
Folklore
Celtic history
Yoga - mainly hatha
Massage and other holistic therapies-just leArning but shiatsu, reiki, relaxation massage

Music, Movies, and Books

mIxed- very open with music. Love getting a skank on to high power music i.e. dnb, jungle, metal, but equally can relax to triphop, reggae, dub.

The alchemist, Breakfast of Champions, Fear and Loathing, Last Exit to Brooklyn, anything Iain Banks, One Flew over the CUckoo's Nest...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

gave up everything to travel, discovered that home is where the heart is. Haven't looked back since and have no concept of a static home.

Teach, Learn, Share

Within person there is an entire universe!

Kurt Vonnegut says we're only here for so long there is no such thing as a generation gap. We're basically all just brothers and sisters and we're all discovering the world at the same time, experiencing the same things.
