About Me

My husband and I are a young couple, ready to soon tackle the challenges of starting a family, but we are traveling to Europe in Aug/Sept 2016 to complete one last adventure together before kids come along. We are into the outdoors, fitness, video gaming, movies and TV shows, our two dogs and camping. My family are Italian and I love learning about new cultures and history. I am an aspiring writer, who currently works full time, but long to be a full time novelist someday. I love running, and if I'm not playing with my two Australian Shepherds, I'm either writing at my desk or out for a run.

We are both extremely polite people, know how to have a good laugh and are extremely outgoing. I can be a little shy until I warm up to new people, but my husband is always fun to be around and likes to joke. We don't take things too seriously and we are always accepting of people and different cultures.

Our aspirations in life are to travel, have a family and be fit and healthy. We would like to start a family very soon, so are completely open to staying with people with children (It might help us to prepare :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We won't have too long to spend in Europe when we travel, so we want to stay with locals and have a real taste of the cities we travel to. We would also like to make new friends and be able to have people give us good recommendations for the best things to see in each place we visit.

We would love to meet new people and learn new things about life, and have interesting conversations with people. We would also be willing to host those who host us! :)

Interests

I love to run, so a host that also enjoys running would be awesome! We also love dogs so would be pleased to stay with anyone with dogs. We love movies and games, both in action sic-fi or fantasy. We also love lots of different music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have too many to list, although I love fantasy sic-fi and am currently writing my own fantasy novel at the moment. (I would love to be a full-time author one day). We love movies that inspire us and challenge thinking and love to watch things like Sherlock Holmes and DaVinci's Demons. We also like watching action films, and the occasional chick flick or drama.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Married my best friend and soul mate!

Teach, Learn, Share

We would be happy to help the host with english speaking, and would love to practise speaking Italian, French or German with the host. We are both engineers, and can help with anyone studying maths or science and as such, enjoy a good technical or philosophical conversation on occasion. We can also educate the host on anything about Australia if interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would be extremely happy with staying with a host with pets or children. We are open to playing/walking your dog. We have also trained our Australian Shepherd's very well, so can can help with any training/behavioural problems and help with training if you like. We can provide interesting conversation, and would love to exchange language skills.
