About Me

From the United States, currently on a study exchange program in Krems, Austria. Half Chinese, half Indonesian, born and raised in the USA. Lived in Guangzhou, China for 5 years. Tallahassee, Florida for the past 3 years. Always traveling and cooking!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just a university student traveling the world on a budget
I have found that when traveling, it's the interactions with people that i remember and value the most. I have met so many kind and generous souls in my travels and it really makes me believe that the world is filled with good people. Its amazing how sometimes you can connect so closely with someone when knowing them for such a short time.

I have officially couchsurfed once, and it was such a pleasant, memorable experience. Other times I have unofficially couchsurfed have also become some of my greatest travel memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

randomly decided i needed a change and moved from Tallahassee, Florida, USA -> Krems, Austria.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am myself, not religious - i prefer to call it spiritual. however, I am endlessly fascinated by religion, so if you are religious i would love to hear about your beliefs!

When I'm bored I like to pass the time watching TedTalks. There are so many incredible things in this universe that we may not consider, and TedTalks have taught me so much about thinking outside the box.

I also have been writing a travel journal of my adventures the past year traveling around Europe. I want to make sure when I'm older i remember all the little things that made my trips great - usually featured are the amazing people I have connected with.
