Overview
About Me
I am passionate about social and environmental justice. I love learning and participating with different cultures and belief systems. `
I prefer being outdoors and consider anything aquatic to my optimal environment. I also have a passion for cooking and believe that food is a precious means of communicating and bonding.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Summer of 2016 I first used coach surfing while living in Italy. It was a wonderful way to meet people and immerse myself in the local Italian experience. I thrive off cultural exchanges and believe coach surfing can facilitate authenticate experiences that only locals can offer!
Interests
I am an avid : hiker, swimmer, beach goer, book reader, and coffee drinker. I love camping and rather spend an entire day outside than indoors or at some luxury resort.
When I do not have the chance to explore outside I love cooking! I am Mexican and Italian, needless to say food is a big part of how I communicate and express affection.

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste transcends many genres such as : classical, jazz, metal, punk, and indie.
(literately anything but country). I do not listen to the radio.
I LOVE to read books on minority experiences, philosophy, history and the construction of social institutions, but the greatest book of all time will always be LORD OF THE RINGS! :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Truthfully, I believe life itself is amazing...
But if I only had to pick one, seeing the Great Wall of China will forever be one of the most amazing things I have done!
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe we all have the capacity to learn from one another.
I view life as a progression, the more I learn about the world the more I realize we are all reflections of one another. Globally, we all have intersecting grievances and if we approached these grievances with a compassionate lens, I believe we could start to see the shared humanity in one another.
We are all just mirrors to one another, reflecting the need to love.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to help cook a meal or take my host to dinner! I believe food can be a wonderful way to bond! It is also my sincerest goal to always listen to, and learn from those around me. I believe the quality in which we participate with one another is essential in fulfilling our own purpose in life.
