'I have never understood why birds sit in trees when they could fly anywhere, although the same could be said about me' I am about to travel to New Zealand for a year and visit Australia and Fiji too.

ABOUT ME

I am 26 years old and have been dreaming of my New Zealand adventure for years.
I spent about 6 months at the end of 2012 travelling the world and I started 2013 with a 3 month trip to China, I spent 5 summers working in an American Summer camp and have worked in Canada, volunteered in South Africa and visited India too.
I have TEFL qualifications and intend to use that to reach out further across the planet, this will be a good year...

A boat is safest in the harbour, but that's not what it was built for.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:Paramore, taking back Sunday, say anything, alexisonfire, brand new, shiny toy guns, Tegan and Sara, placebo, we are scientists, rihanna, new found glory, motion city soundtrack, ed Sheeran. But I will listen to anything, my iPod is pretty much ful.

Movies: moulin rouge, my fair lady, Mary poppins, inception, dr strange love, easy A, anchorman. I have the '1001 movies to see before you die' book, I'm working on it...

Books: anything by kathy reichs, the hobbit, pride and prejudice, the picture of Dorian grey, Shakespeare

South African Safari/petting cheetahs/holding crocodiles.

Quad biking in Swaziland.

Canoe trip along the Potmac River in Virginia USA.

Traditional Indian wedding in Bangalore/visiting the temples and gardens/ sitting amongst the peace and watching people pray.

Partying in Old Montreal and Montreal on my Canada trip with some really cool people.

I enjoy meeting and learning from people that have travelled to hear their stories, where they went what they did there and how they funded it !

But I like to meet everyone, everybody has a story to tell. Everyone you meet knows something you don't.
