I am an American currently living and teaching English in Poland. I have always had a passion for literature, which is what maybe sparked my interest to travel the world. Since I was very young, I have always wanted to explore and experience everything life has to offer. I am not a picky traveller and I am always ready for any type of adventure. I love being outdoors and I am a big nature lover. I played football my whole life, which I'm always down to watch or play a match. I am a very open-minded and positive person who never wants to stop learning and growing.

I'm on Couchsurfing to gain the most out of my experience. All I want to do is travel, explore, meet cool people, and see beautiful places.

I grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix, the Doors, Fleetwood Mac, love my Janice Joplin, the Who, the Moody Blues, and so on. Recently my musical taste has shifted to more towards the whole electronic scene. I love any type music that flows through you and you can't help but dance.

I love any type of movies that make you really think. One movie that first pops into my head is The Place Beyond the Pines. Anything unpredictable.

Books, my greatest love. I love some heavy and thought-provoking literature and read some intense pieces of work at university. I studied extensively 19th Century American Literature, mostly slave narratives. Albert Camus is one of my favorite authors and I am currently reading his The Myth of Sisyphus. My all time favorite is The Empathy Exams by Leslie Jamison, which I highly recommend.
