I am a student in Canada who loves to see new places, try new things, and meet new people! I haven't had the opportunity to travel outside of Canada much as a child but now that I am older I am taking the initiative to travel on my own. This July (2015) I will be going on my first trip to Europe and am extremely excited!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I think that it is an excellent community action. I like the idea of providing a couch and and company to travellers and hopefully receiving hospitality as well along my travels. It's a great way to meet new people with a passion for travelling and also a way to get insight on the local land from some locals themselves.

兴趣

I love being outside and exploring nature. That being said I like hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and camping. I also enjoy reading and discovering new music. Watching live music is one of my favorite past times. I am also in the process of teaching myself how to play ukulele !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Once I went on a road trip with some friends to the Gaspesie region and saw a bear walking on a peninsula. At the perfect moment a whale breached in the background above the bear. You could say we got our nature fix for the day!

I can teach/share my knowledge of the english language and I would love to practice any languages that my host speaks! Swapping music or film interests would be lovely! Also I am a pretty good cook so I can teach recipes or learn new ones from you!
