Obviously, being a student, there is the factor of money, but the reason that couchsurfing really appeals to me is that you get to know the people that you are staying with, therefore learning more about them and their culture. I just think its a great way for people to connect with each other.

I just feel like this is a way to brag...
I did climb Mt. Whitney once! I really want to go to the base camp of Everest sometime - or all the way to the top. That would be amazing.
