I’m Sarah, 22 years old from the famous Westerwald in Germany. I study urban planning in Hamburg since 2016 but my true passion will go towards traffic and mobility planning. I'm interested in finding transportation and traffic solutions. Starting in February 2019, I’ll go abroad to the Utrecht Universiteit to do an exchange at the geography department to deepen my knowledge in economics of geography, another study interest of mine.

As studying is only one part of my life, my other focus is music. On weekends, you’ll find me in any techno club with my friends dancing till dawn and dusk and even longer. In the summertime, I’ll hang out at festivals expanding my musical horizon.

If I’m not doing any music, I’m usually sitting in a train traveling through Germany visiting friends all over. If there’d be a student annual flatrate for the Deutsche Bahn, I’d be the first to get one!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing to meet new and interesting people, find local advice for good music and destinations and someone to just hang out with when I’m in new places. As I’m traveling quite often, and home is not too close every night, new places to stop by and explorer would be perfect. Of course, I’d also love to show you my side of Hamburg and meet up with you here or soon in Utrecht! I'm also looking for cool people to hang out or any advice about the techno scene in Utrecht/ Amsterdam.

I'm really into techno music, it makes me feel like I'm in a kind of trance state. I love techno artists like Amotik, Abstract Division, Polar Inertia, ø Phase, nthng, Introversion, I hate models, Somewhen, ... there are so much more, too many to list them all here.

Apart from that I love to watch French films like Intouchables or Les Choristes
