About Me
Eyoo guys!
I'm Sarah, a 22 years old girl who's just discovered this app :)
Fluent in French obviously, cause that's my mother tongue but also in English.
Just to tell you all a bit more about me, I like, hmm no, sorry, i LOVE traveling. To be honest, this may be my biggest passion in life. It's been now 3 years that I'm doing all I can to travel as much as possible, that's why I did my university exchange in Montreal, my internship in Athens and more recently, I did my master's degree (well just a semester) in Glasgow.
I really love meeting new people, connecting with them, and understanding them. Of course, when it's needed, I can do some small talk, but I'm really enjoying deep conversations, haha.
I'd say I'm quite sociable and friendly, and I've always got a lot of energy. But no worries, I can obviously be calm and reserved sometimes when it's needed, so I won't bother you, haha.
Can't wait to meet you all :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I'm planning to go to Montreal and NY in May, and I was saying to myself "how could I easily meet new people out there?". And this app and this couch surfing concept gave me the answer I wanted.
Of course, I could go to some hostels that are always a good option and way to meet new people, but If I'm able to choose, I'd rather stay with locals so everything could be easier.
Plus, in a few months, I'm gonna do a WHV (Work Holiday Visa) in Australia for about a year so I already know for a fact that I'll use this app very often haha
Interests
As you can already imagine, traveling is one of my main interests. And also, I'd say sports, music and culture in general
- traveling
- music
- cinema
Music, Movies, and Books
Yes, I do know, this sounds very "cliché" but I really love Harry Potter. Would always be down to watch those films again and again.
Except those ones, I really love Dead Poets Society, which is btw a movie I recommend to everyone. And also I'd say Erin Brokovich with Julia Robert's is just amazing
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably my university exchange in Montreal when I was 20. That was the first time I went outside of Europe. That was super daunting at first, not gonna lie. But I've met so many incredible people out there, I've learned to live by myself, and I've literally fallen in love with this city.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't really know what I can offer you, but I'll try to help you in any way I can, with some housekeeping, dishes, or even gardening.
Don't hesitate, just feel free to ask me whatever you could need, and I'll do my best :)
