I'm just finishing up my fourth year as a chemistry student in Christchurch. Not sure what the world holds for me in the future, but am excited to try living in another country. I've traveled a lot growing up, and it has always been a huge passion of mine. I'm really interested in learning new languages, and love the history and culture that comes with travelling. I'm really outdoorsy, so like going to places with a view, and interesting wildlife. Love getting out for a climb and doing some yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and meet new people and experience new cultures, unfortunately the hardest part about travel as a student is affording accommodation and knowing where to go and what to do! Using couch surfing means I can meet new people, make some new friends and get to see a side of places only the locals normally get to see.

Interests

Summer! I love being able to be outside, walking, love the beach, the mountains and the sunshine. I'm also really passionate about science and reading. I practice yoga and am interested in learning more about the practice and meditation also. I love trying new things, and am currently getting into acroyoga, surfing and skating. I've been climbing for years, and basically just love to get outdoors. Keen to give anything a go, will always say yes to a new experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into most music, favorite bands include Phoenix, The temper trap, Grouplove, also really love good kiwi summer music. I like movies that make you think and feel, e.g. Juno, Perks of begin a wallflower, but could never turn down a good Disney movie! Will read almost anything, can't wait to finish study and guilt-free read summer away!
