About Me

There are three words that I have found to describe me and which have always been companions to me:

open-mindedness,
sincerity and passion.

However, I am not able give you the whole essence of me through those words. But to get an impression of my daily life and who I am, you can have a look at my facebook profile https://www.facebook.com/huibuh.tu
or my instagram profile https://www.instagram.com/linhdividualista/ (more up to date)

MY PHILOSOPHY

"You say the more you think you know what's right the less you do what you feel inside. So I won't pretend that I always know I just follow my heart wherever it goes. And I may not always get it right but at least I am living because I got only one life."

James Morrison in "One Life"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There was no challenge anymore in following ready-made routes when I travelled. I couldn't see and I couldn't feel. Even though I knew about the urgency to change my way of travelling, I still needed a lot of time to get here.

I first started travelling by myself. One of the wonderful and amazing things is that when I travelled by myself, I belonged to no one and at the same time I belonged to everyone all at once. Someday, my friend from childhood recommended me to start with CS because she had great experiences when she travelled. So, with my first CS experience, I instantly understood what she's appreciated about CS.

With CS we have the opportunity to immerse in an initially stranger's life, to listen to his or her stories. One person that initially seemed so outlandish becomes so familiar. One culture that initially seemed so different to yours, becomes so familiar through exchange.

That's why I am on Couchsurfing - to remember this all the time.

Interests

I am curious for all and everything...from deep talk to talk nonsense if the day has been really nerve-wracking, from arts to science, from culture to technology...

But if interest means what my heart is longing for it is Pole Dance and Yoga Flow. Simply everything that has to do with motion in combination with music because this is where I forget everything around and I am in my own world. Nothing else really matters in such moments.

After some years of lethargy due to an accident, I have also discovered the lioness and the child in me again. That's how recent activities involved simple local events, swimming, running, BBQs, concerts, wakeboarding, Acro Yoga Jams, workshops for different things like aerial hoop and aerial silk. But I can have some down time simply watching documentaries or reading a book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't know much about movies. The only reason I watch movies are the people that I am watching with. But I do love love love documentaries about animals.

Because I feel different everyday I listen to any kind of music. This is the greatest thing about music - you just enjoy the moment with it...downtempo, asian lofi hiphop, chants, RnB, reggae...are genres I listen mostly to. To give you some examples of artist Tash Sultana, Banks, City of the Sun, Xavier Rudd, Hang Massive, Sol Rising...and I do love love love chillstep with Alan Watts in the background - or is it the other way round? =)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To Love

Teach, Learn, Share

I could take you to our studio and teach you pole dancing (acrobatics and dance combos) and/or Yoga Flow .

I learn a lot from people with enough courage to keep it real and to be authentic; with enough courage to learn about who they are, what their strengths and weaknesses are. Whoever is close to his or her heart is a teacher for me; and whoever knows how to laugh is a teacher for me as well=)

Apart from that I love to share stories.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bolivia, Brazil, Estonia, Hong Kong, Italy, Oman, Peru, Singapore, Turkey, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Kenya, Seychelles, Spain, United Arab Emirates
