Hi! I’m a recent college graduate (in journalism and public health) from the US who finally saved up enough money to start traveling. I am loving it! This summer, I worked near Madrid as an au pair for a few months, and now I’m traveling throughout Europe a bit. New to CS!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m new to traveling, but so far my faveorite parts have been meeting people from different countries and getting a glimpse into their life, culture and values. It puts things in my own life into perspective. So I hope to meet more people, whether locals or other travelers, through the Couchsurfing app!

I love to read psychology and philosophy books that give me a new lens to look at life through. In the fiction department, I read a lot of historical/realistic fiction and some cheesy coming of age or romance novels :)

I enjoy all sorts of music — recently I’ve been listening to a lot of folk, like Neil Young and Bob Dylan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked as the editor-in-chief of my university’s student newspaper, and then as an au pair in Spain — two of my favorite experiences so far :)
