California native coming from Santa Barbara. I am a geologist/ student. Working on setting my life up as an planetary geolgist. I am a total geonerd, but i love all things of nature. I am mostly fascinated by the natural sciences, but do have a plethora of other interests such as health and fitness, philosphy, mental health/behavioral science, poetry, music, and art. Always working to be a better human and love anything that involves transcendence of the mind, body, or soul.

I am a woman of many hats and have many jobs titles such as: personal trainer, research intern, tutor. Also know every geopun in the book, so prepare yourself for all the cheesy jokes. Love to be outside and any physical activities that take me there. All which include: hiking/ backpacking, kayaking, surfing/ SUP, diving, climbing, wakeboarding.

Have adventured in almost every geomorphic province in CA, yet have traveled to few places outside of my home state till the past two years. Most of the areas I have been to are in the southwestern states. Spent a month in Hawaii backpacking and doing field volcanology. First time out of the counrty was a trip to the Bahamas this year (which i only partly count since the area i went to was so Americanized).

Enjoys traveling and the fresh perspectives that come with uprooting and enthralling yourself in new culture (macroculture or subculture). Definitely consider myself an introvert, but most see me as an extrovert. I have a handful of close friends, but am very social and love meeting new people. I believe getting to know a person is like opening a story book. Each unique to their own and each offering new insights about the world.

Love engaging in intellectual and/or meaningful conversations with other humans. I feel that is what gives life meaning. I am young, but i grew up quick and i grew up tough, so don't let my age fool you. Homegirl's got mad life experience points. I always do my best to be radically responsible, respectful, considerate, and compassionate when engaging with others. I have been often told that i am very maternal and am able to offer wisdom well beyond my years. Also been desribed as the best third wheel, which i take as a compliment (must mean i'm good company). I also love being weird and silly, while playing cards and board games with new and old friends!

Love music of all variations and always love a good live show. I listen mostly to classic-punk rock, blues, jazz, regggae, and hip-hop. I listen to Nina Simone daily. I love to sing. My favorite genres of music to sing are jazz and blues. You could say i got it from my mama. She used to sing jazz, and even sang with Barabara Morrison at one point. I am learning to play bass. I started with ballet and tap, but I have been dancing all my life. Used to teach Zumba at one point.

Have a love for everything creative. Was working in the lappidary business for a bit and grew a deeper appreciation for the artistic applications of minerals. I love to write. Been writing poetry and short stories since i was 7. Occasionally, i even draw terrible illustrations next to my poems. Now dabbling with writing lyrics and jammin with other musicians.

I am just an old soul with a love for exploration, on my journey to experience the world :)
