Overview
About Me
Hello Couchsurfing.com! I am Sarah Papaluca, an 18 year old girl living just outside of Toronto, Canada. I am currently studying criminology at Ryerson University. I'm a pleasant person (or so I've been told) and I love to meet new people! In addition to travelling the world I want to take beautiful pictures. I want to experience things that are outside of my comfort zone. I want to live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I understand the desire to travel. I understand the need to discover yourself somewhere far away from home. I want to see what the world has to offer and while helping like-minded individuals reach their goals comfortably as they travel the world themselves. Toronto's a beautiful city and I would love to help people uncover it. In the end, ultimately, I simply hope to build relationships with people and live a life I'm proud of, all while exploring different countries and cultures.
Interests
I am interested in a variety of things. I love photography, so I try to take my camera with me wherever I go. I'm a huge hockey fan (Go Leafs Go!) so I would definitely drag you out to a game with me. I attempt to do volunteer work when possible (such as handing out sandwiches to any homeless people I see on the streets)and I am an avid Netflix fan who can often also be found completing Buzzfeed quizzes online during my English tutorials.

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music I am kind of into everything. My favourite artists are The Beatles, but I do enjoy other kinds of rock, pop, rap and country. My favourite movie (and don't you dare criticize) is How to Train your Dragon (Hiccup's and Toothless' relationship is pure gold), but once again, I can watch anything. My favourite books are The Book Thief by Marcus Zusack, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, and any good series (hello to any Harry Potter and/or A Series of Unfortunate Events fans out there!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sadly, I cannot think of anything that I deem worthy enough to write here. I suppose that's also why I decided to join Couchsurfing, I believe that it'll inspire me to do amazing things.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm hoping that while I'm exploring the world I can learn things about different cultures and experience the beauty of diversity. I hope to share some polite Canadian hospitality to everyone I have the pleasure of meeting. I often try to share various aspects of my life on social networking sites like Twitter, but mostly through Instagram :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I promise to be an easily adaptable guest who will help take out the garbage. I'll clean the dishes and take your dog out for a walk. I'll do whatever.
