About Me
[Currently traveling across Europe, probably not able to host people until November]
Hi 😊
I'm a french med student living in Tours, Centre, France. I enjoy meeting new people and traveling, so I hope I can welcome new people and help them discover my town!
My biggest dream is to become a doctor without boarders! I hope to spread health care in this world dominated by war and oppression.
I'm really (REALLY) into politics and activism. I'm a climate, feminist and anti-racism activist (and some more but let's save that for when we meet).
I'd be really glad to host anyone from anywhere, I'm sure we'll get along! If you wish, I can make you a tour of my town, and take you to the best places to get a drink or have a meal 😉
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing is a really good way to travel. Is there a better way to get to know a country, its culture, its people than directly meeting and living with them?
Interests
Obviously, I love traveling. I've been lucky to have parents who were the same: I could travel since I was a child. I think it's a chance, to be able to see the world since childhood, learning that there's not only our cocooning France in the world, learning about others cultures, meeting other people.
I'm also a big fan of music - almost every kind of music. I play the cello and love classical music, but also rock or whatever ! If you travel with your instrument (which can be complicated if you play the piano or cello), I'd love to play with you!
I love reading, and I used to write (thank you med studies, I don't have time anymore!). If you like or study French, pick a book in my library 😉
About sports, I go on treks and hikes as soon as I have time (which is not every weekend I admit). I also try to sail and windsurf when I can go by the sea. I practice French boxing amd I go climbing weekly.
Cinema is also one of my passion. My favourite thing to do with my friends is going to see a movie to our favourite cinema which is an independent cinema (actually, the biggest indépendant cinema in Europe I think?) showing other films than blockbusters (even though I really enjoy blockbusters!), and then talking about it with a good beer or a good diner!
I'm kind of a social activist. You will soon here me talk about social rights, feminism, racism, capitalism, and of course, the environmental catastrophe. But this is a "around a beer" subject 😇

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶David Bowie, the pirouettes, & my cello
🎥life is beautiful (la vita e bella, sorry Italians if I spelled it wrong), Guillermo del Toro, Thomas Vinterberg
📖 Isaac Asomov, Philip K. Dick, Albert Camus
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time I travelled alone. I went to India, and some friends joined me later there.
I was 19 and a bit frightened, but it went pretty well. Except the fact that I got malaria over there (I'm ok now haha)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new languages. Currently I'm into modern Greek (but I'm not really good for the moment haha), but I'd love to learn more. If you want to I can help you with your French!
I can also help you understand French culture for example, even take you to Paris (which is really close to my town), or Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes...
Anyway, I hope we can share a lot!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I think I have already said everything, or almost... I can help you with French, of course, and I can show you Tours from a resident's point of view, to show you the best places ! I can also show you the grocery store and shops you might need, cook and eat with you, as you wish!
I can also show you some good wine from our region if you'd like 😌
