Heyyy there! I'm the eldest child of a large family of very Dutch Canadian immigrants, so I'm very familiar with western European food and customs. I'm very chill, incredibly happy go lucky and have much enthusiasm for adventures. My personality is odd, as I'm very friendly but also quite introverted, so I value one on one interactions more than large groups. I love exploring cities and countrysides, tasting new food and experiencing new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My plan at the moment is to see how far I can get through Europe with a limited budget. I have 8 months so whenever I run out of money I'll hop over to the Netherlands and hang out with my aunt and help her out with her four kids. ✌🏻

Music: Any kind, honestly but folk / indie is my go to

Film: powerful. I love a film that evokes discussion and contemplation, and if it highlights a particular culture or group of people that don't often get the spotlight, that's even better.

Books: any kind of fiction, but dark and twisted with horribly sad endings are my specialty.

I teach swimming and water fitness for a living so if you need some help in those areas, I got you. :)
Otherwise I'm pretty useless (kidding).

I'm a decent cook, I'm pretty funny and I've got some interesting stories (only because I have a tendency to get myself into tricky situations). I love hanging out with children and letting them tell me all about their world. I'm pretty handy, especially at DIY projects with a creative twist.
