I'm a third year university student studying abroad in Paris for a year, but originally I'm from Sacramento, California. I am very new to couchsurfing and am excited to meet new people! I am a bit of an introvert, but once you get to know me you'll find that I'm easy to get along with, open-minded, and funny/sarcastic. I never take myself too seriously :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals in the cities I visit and gain a deeper insight into the local culture, but I especially want to practice my French.

Interests

I love hiking, backpacking, and being outside, traveling, learning about new cultures, photography, reading, and anything French. I love walking around and exploring the different places I'm in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love indie, alternative, folk, and rock music. Some of my favorite bands/artists are Local Natives, Vampire Weekend, Radiohead, Jose Gonzalez, and Coldplay.

A couple of my favorite books are: A Thousand Splendid Suns, Into the Wild, and Invisible Monsters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied and lived in Hawaii for a semester. I also backpacked along the coast of California for a few days.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can speak to hosts in English or French if they want to practice either languages. I can also share my time with hosts because I would love to learn more about them and the places that they live in!
