About Me
Hello! I am a student of medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. I played soccer for 16 years and am hoping to become a sports doctor someday, hopefully for a soccer team. In the meantime, I plan on learning about myself and the world with every available opportunity to travel. I've worked for 3+ years as a American Red Cross certified lifeguard and provide swim lessons.
I am slightly obsessed with animals, although I refuse to eat them (except fish on the rare occasion), my favorites being guinea pigs, pigs, and rhinos, and have convinced my parents to aquire 2 dogs, 5 guinea pigs, and 3 cats throughout the past 6 years. I worked at a dog hotel and even learned the basics of dog grooming and am always up to bathe a dog for free, no matter how big or fluffy!
I love all things art, but as I am not artistic myself, find an outlet in playing violin (and hopefully cello in the near future), writing and appreciating spoken-word, reading books about everything. I am a major Harry Potter enthusiast and will fight to the death for the honor of my house, Slytherin. I enjoy pretty much all genres and am always excited when I have a new subject to hear me gush about books that fill my heart with joy.
I hope to talk books, bathe your dog, and see your city soon!

Teach, Learn, Share
My first semester of University, I spent travelling through Ecuador and Peru through a company called Carpe Diem which focuses on learning outside of the classroom. During the semester, I took a course called Intro to Religious and Spiritual studies and chose to focus on Shamanism for my report. One of the core beliefs of Shamanism states that everything and everyone is our teacher which is a practice I hold close to my heart. I believe that I am always learning and can, therefore, from every experience I have, every person I meet, and even every mistake I make.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know a lot of card games from all over the US. I may be young, but I have a lot of stories I enjoy sharing. I love learning about other cultures and am always willing to share parts of mine, that is if you believe the United States has culture.
